About the Event
The vision of St. Mark’s is that every person has a relationship with Jesus Christ. Prayer is key to that relationship! Lent is characterized by prayer, fasting and almsgiving. This Lent, we encourage everyone to enter more deeply into prayer. To support you on your faith journey, we are offering this “do-it-yourself” retreat over the course of the weekend, with additional optional opportunities to enter into prayer and meditation as a community. The church will be open for personal prayer from 6-9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Please feel free to come and go as you like! There is no “right” or “wrong” way to enter into this retreat! You can take the book and do the retreat entirely on your own at home, or do the retreat entirely from the curch, or some combination of at-home and parish time. The choice is yours!
